Steam Next Fest is set to return for its October edition, offering players a chance to sample free demos for upcoming PC games. The upcoming event follows previous editions held earlier in the year in February and June.
Event Schedule and Details
The PC demo showcase will run from Oct. 19 at 1:00 p.m. EDT to Oct. 26. During the multi-day event, independent and major developers upload free trials of their upcoming titles to the Steam store, allowing users to test out a wide variety of unreleased games before their official launches.
Featured Demos and Early Access
While the official event kicks off next week, several demos are already accessible to players on the platform, including Ace & Aro: Heart-to-Heart and Fallgrade.
Other confirmed titles slated to appear during the October showcase include Emberville, described as a riff on Stardew Valley, the drinking game Drunken Goddess Reflux, and the multiplayer body-hiding game We Are So Cooked. Certain featured titles have already accumulated significant attention on the platform prior to the festival’s official launch.
