Nuvellum avoids unnecessary trackers. Reader analytics are disabled by default in the production build and are only activated when the publication explicitly configures its analytics measurement ID.
01Reader analytics
If enabled, Nuvellum uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, broad traffic sources and product interactions such as article clicks, save actions and reading-depth milestones. Nuvellum’s custom event layer does not intentionally send names, email addresses, article-source URLs or URL query strings.
02Operational monitoring
Internal newsroom health checks monitor publication output, repository checks and deployment state. These checks concern the publishing system rather than reader profiles.
03Before additional services are enabled
Newsletter, advertising, account or other services that materially change reader-data collection should be documented here before they are enabled, together with their purpose and the service responsible for processing the data.
04Changes to this page
This policy should continue to be reviewed against the deployed production stack whenever analytics, newsletter, advertising or account infrastructure changes.
