Full Day Productions and Lost Tribe Creative have launched a new docuseries titled “On The Line: The World Burger Games” on Prime Video. The five-episode series follows crew members from the fast-casual restaurant chain through a global competition stretching from local qualifying rounds to the championship stage.
Origins of the Five Guys Games
The internal event began in 2013 as an initiative conceived by the Murrell family to celebrate and thank the franchise’s staff. Over the years, the competition expanded to an international scale. Five Guys founder Jerry Murrell stated that the games started as a gesture of appreciation for the people who contribute to the brand, which employs approximately 50,000 workers.
Challenges and Prizes
The docuseries provides a character-driven look at eight finalists competing in various challenges modeled after daily operational skills. The 2026 competition features three core events: the potato race, the cheese race, and the dressing and quality control race. Financial awards for the participants include a $100,000 prize for first place, $50,000 for second place, and a minimum of $10,000 for every finalist.
Full Day Productions president David Chamberlin noted that the production aimed to capture the camaraderie, pride, and corporate culture built by workers across the globe. The series is produced by Full Day Productions—a Words + Pictures company—in collaboration with Lost Tribe Creative, with Collin Orcutt serving as showrunner.
