Radio stations and soundtrack previews
Music will remain a major component of Grand Theft Auto VI, with Rockstar Games stating that the upcoming title will feature the franchise’s “biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet.” Players will be able to listen to at least six radio stations while on foot or in vehicles.
The initial six stations span a variety of genres from rap to country and include Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM, and Dirty South Classics. Previews of these stations are available on the official Rockstar website, alongside six singles from the game’s official soundtrack featuring artists such as Travis Scott and Yung Lean.
Introduction of in-game podcasts
In addition to music channels, Grand Theft Auto VI will introduce on-demand podcasts for the first time in the series. Players can listen to fictional podcasters deliver commentary on fictional events while navigating the game’s setting of Leonida.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently available for preorder and is scheduled to launch on November 19th.
