Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has revealed a secret digital project, sharing a tour of a Minecraft city he has spent the past 12 years building.

A 12-year digital creation

Following an interview with Today where Tomlin discussed being a player of the game, he posted a 19-minute video on a personal YouTube channel to show off the creation. The initial video in a planned series quickly accumulated over 750,000 views.

Tomlin stated that he initially began playing Minecraft alongside his children and continued building even after they left home. Built around large bodies of water with rivers running through it, the city features residential buildings, a CVS with its logo spelled out in blocks, and a recreation of Trump Tower accompanied by on-screen text noting it was built around 2015 without an endorsement.

Detailed interiors and design

During the tour, which features Tomlin alongside his son, viewers are taken inside multiple apartment complexes showcasing distinct interior designs. One building incorporates a central aquarium, while another includes an underground speakeasy lit by glowstones. A residential section named The View was inspired by the location where his son lived during college.

The video presents an urban planning and interior design project developed across more than a decade, offering a look into the long-term gaming project of the former NFL coach.
