Floqer’s AI agents research sales prospects so teams don’t have to

Autonomous customer knowledge platform Floqer plans to open-source its database technology and reports surpassing $1.2 million in ARR.

Floqer operates as an autonomous customer knowledge platform, supplying business-to-business sales and marketing teams with an AI-driven database built to collect, organize, and update customer information continuously. The startup plans to open-source the underlying technology of its autonomous customer knowledge database by early 2027, subject to security reviews.

Origins and pivot to CRM data

Founded in 2024 by CEO Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, Floqer has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding from backers including Perplexity’s F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats. Prior to starting the company, Mahajan worked as a software engineer at Kyndryl, while Islam served as a senior data scientist at Axis Capital.

The startup initially launched a Chrome extension named “Super Chat,” which allowed users to log in with a ChatGPT account to take notes and understand information. The founders observed that enterprise clients were utilizing the extension to clean up records in their customer relationship management systems. After learning that maintaining CRM data relied on manual work with few established processes, the founders pivoted to build Floqer.

Automation of sales research

Floqer aims to automate prospect research by allowing users to describe their target profiles. Its AI agents then search across multiple sources—including Google, LinkedIn, company websites, and job boards—to generate lists of relevant companies and contacts. The system enriches account details using over 100 third-party data sources and employs a waterfall approach to verify email addresses and phone numbers.

Additionally, the platform continuously monitors the web for updates such as job changes, promotions, or company funding rounds. Customers have reported reducing prospecting time by up to 70%.

Floqer reports surpassing $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue, with overall revenue growing roughly tenfold over the past year. The startup currently has eight employees and over 1,000 customers, including Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList. According to Mahajan, customer demand prompted the decision to open-source the technology, as some companies prefer to host their own data or build upon the platform.
