The “Exploring Pendola Pass” quest in Arc Raiders serves as an introductory tour of the map’s key points of interest as part of the ‘Frozen Trail’ update. Assigned by Celeste, the mission requires players to complete four distinct objectives that can be tackled across multiple rounds alongside other quests.
Quest steps and combat recommendations
The quest consists of four main tasks:
- Destroy 20 Arc enemies.
- Search the control room at the Cielo Sereno Observatory for power.
- Use one wire to patch into the antenna on top of the tallest tower in the Railyard.
- Search three containers inside the Commissary Supermarket.
To eliminate the 20 required Arc enemies efficiently, long-range weapons such as an Anvil or Renegade are recommended for taking out Wasps, Hornets, and Fireflies from a distance. Players are advised to avoid the Bully enemy. Bringing mobility gadgets like a grappling hook, snaphook, or zipline is also recommended.
Cielo Sereno Observatory and Railyard objectives
The Cielo Sereno Observatory is situated in the northeast corner of Pendola Pass. Players can reach the control room—located on the western side of the building—by using a mobility gadget to access the roof, or by taking the stairs underneath and dropping through a hole. Interacting with the “inspect the tech” prompt completes the objective, though doing so mid-combat results in a brief electrocution.
For the Railyard task, players must bring a wire and travel to the tall tower located on the southeastern side of the area. Using a mobility gadget to reach the top, players can interact with the prompt to patch into the antenna, which consumes the wire.
Supermarket search and rewards
The final location is the Commissary Supermarket in the middle of Pendola Pass, where players must search three containers. A ballistic gondola located directly outside allows for a safe extraction. Returning to Celeste in Speranza upon completion yields 5,000 XP, a snow globe, a medium shield, and an Osprey I.
